Mr. Horowitz joined us two years ago after spending 4 years as a Deputy Corporation Counsel for the County of Hawai’i, representing the County, its executive leadership, agencies, and employees in various state and federal litigation and in matters on appeal. Kaena brings to the firm experience in complex commercial litigation, construction contracts, personal injury, and insurance defense.
Previously, Kaena assisted a local Hawaii construction company, advising project management on legal and risk mitigation issues regarding large scale infrastructure construction projects.
He is also the Head Swimming Coach at Kamehameha Schools – Hawai’i.
